Three additional Companies of Cavalry and two of Infantry are ordered to you. This is the best that can be done and gives you Eight Cavalry Companies for the field. Eleven of the wagons sent can be detained. Forty thousand Carbine Cartridges ordered to you. Clothing is also ordered. Let me know what more you require and the quantities. Col.
