Theodore Furber has bought a Possession 1/2 mile from Warren, and can have as much land as he wishes to purchase for 1.00 per Acre, when it comes into Market. He writes his health is better than for some years before. Mr. Hoxie's family all expect to start for Wisconsin in the Spring. Charles had a Threshing Machine here last week (Marshall's from Bradford) commenced threshing Wednes. Morn, staid till Friday noon, and threshed 190 bushels of grain; 105 bu. Thursday. Worked best of any Machine we ever had here. No wheat Our wheat all stands in the fields yet! Charles was sick, he could get no help to cut it till very late. Then came wet weather damaging it, and finally a great freshet carrying away the bridge, so it could not be got home. No great loss, however, for C. said it would hardly have paid for Threshing at first. C. has got four "Chugs" to Winter, as he says to make a "Spee" in the Spring.
