perfect, and our spirits high -- until mine fell when I found out that Mr. Davis had on a pair of ill-fitting shoes, that he was suffering from the heat, and the effects of an operation of two months ago. If I had known of his hospitalization so recent, I wd not have consented to take the trip - I came through it in fine shape and feel fine this morning. Hope to hear soon abt Davis condition, and hope he pulls through the operation O.K. Shall be looking forward to the prints of the snaps taken during the last Sundays visit with the M.& L.'s. Will soon have the prints from the film you exposed when here. Think there were 3 or 4- Thanks for the blotter.
