A lady here has just buried her only one a sweet child three years old of dysentery; ending in dropsy of the brain; Both parents seem as if refusing to be comforted, it is a savage strike "tears one in every part of the vale". Does Ellen still remain & good? Our grapes are now in greatest perfection & abundance too; I am going to make some grape preserves the docter's favorite kind.
