I like my present boarding place very much, I have reason to believe that I am among real friends; I have a large pleasant chamber: in it is an air-light, and in that generally a fire. A beautiful, witty, intelligent and noble hearted 'Lizzie', rooms with me, if I had more time, I would tell you more about her.

Eliab is really a smart and promising young man, and pleases every one, he is called pretty handsome, but his time is so engrossed with his business and with his 'Sons of Temperance' affairs that I scarcely see him once amonth.
