Yesterday I had a letter from [[Mate?]] saying Edward was quite sick--the Dr feared at first that he was going to have typhoid fever, but when she wrote she said he hoped he had broken it up, and Edward had been able to eat a little that day--her letter was very short, we are hoping to hear again tomorrow.
