At the time your card arrived, our outfit was short of men due to two men on vacation and one in hospital. | |||
Therefore I took advantage of 7 or 8 chances to do a second-shift at time-and-one-half, money greatly needed. | |||
Mrs. Mead had a rather severe gall bladder attack early in October, was housebound for a few weeks. | |||
