Have had some hard rains the past few days which have been hard on them. Am enclosing article by Percy Hammond which may amuse you. I thought it quite clever. Discovered a fine recipe for Pie Plant pie in the "52 Sunday Dinners" book. It calls for 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, a little nutmeg and an egg, all to be mixed up and added to the pie plant. Was timorous about trying it at first as it seemed so strange to put an egg in, but have made several |
