La mobilité est obtenue très souvent par un effet de diagonale qui joue dans bien des groupes le ro[[accent circumflex above ole principal: c'est la diagonale qui est l'élément dyamique, tant dans les figures isolées que dans leur assemblage. C'est elle qui forme l'attitude et le geste, l'axe et sa perpendicu- laire, Chez Zadkine l'air est modelé comme la matière, malaxé avec elle. L'espace jusqu'alors stérile complèteles figures et tantoaccent circumflex above ot forme leur continuation, tantoaccent circumflex above ot au contraire constitue un contraste.
