  I will write a bit so as to send this to the office, though I've miserable with t pen  I rec'd your letter for [[unclear]] I thank you much  Thurs. eve. together with one from Joseph  A short time after came S.W.F.  and [[sein?]] if I'ac? dismiss school at noon next day he'd bring me home cordingly  He was [[?]] collecting bills and thought he'd collect me while he was about it I shall expect another letter from you very soon at La Grange. Wrote to you after I went there. Don't know whether you have rec'd it. Have had some splendid raspberries & cream, today, first this season. Wish you had some of them. Be careful of your health this warm weather. Wish I had some money to send you - I dont believe it is good for you to be [[unclear]] water so much I wish you would value your health more
