I thought once of going down to Utica today, but since reading your letter decided to wait till Saturday, when I hope to meet you there if you are able to do so. Father was very anxious that as much as could be should be done by private sales before the public sale. Thomas has therefore disposed of some things and will of more if he has an opportunity. Elizabeth wishes to know whether you are not going to make them that visit. Mr. Ricker expects to go that way during the season and perhaps you might go with him and I would go after you.
