Dear | Dear Aunties Robert has to many chores to do to day to be able to write a very long letter so I will gladly finish his sheet. We have a mullato boy working for us this summer "he is a boy that Sydney Duncan brought up" he was not feeling well to day so didn't help R any. We are milking about 21 or 22 cows now Betty had a nice heifer calf to day our Mary Ann cow had twins this spring we didn't raise either as they were small and came very early. Do you remember Aunt [[unclear]] how wild lofty used to be when we went to the barn she is as gentle as any of the cows now & that is saying a gooddeal as they are all very quiet after getting acquainted with us. We did not go to church to day it is windy & cold & rained alittle this morning | ||
