My brother spent another week with us - left Tuesday to go home to St. Joseph, Mo. It's in the bone marrow now (cancer) and he's offered no more hope. Goes down visibly by the day. So it's been a rather traumatic time for me. | |||
Y'all can expect the annual letter in late October - this one on China. | |||

Got both your letters. This is a little hurry note just to say we've had trouble finding another copy of the book. We want to take one to a friend in Shanghai who is teaching English there.
