Every time I see a review signed "Jack Conroy" I am tempted to write. First, because I enjoy your articles so

very much, and second, because two years ago at the Oakenwald School, I taught a most interesting, sensitive little boy of the same name. Ordinarily, one remembers only the imps, sentimentalists to the contrary, and there were plenty of them at the Oakenwald, but sometimes one finds a kindred spirit to look back upon. I have often wondered whether the Jack Conroy I taught for the short space of three months, was your son.
