Dear Gladys and Jack,

I have been very negligent in not communicating with you for over a year - maybe almost two. In fact, I wrote to you when I lived in Salisbury, Maryland.

And you answered, Jack & sent me some very interesting inspirational literature advising me to stay away from nicotine and alcohol (and probably women, too). And then I never got around to (2) answering you.

Anyway, after apologizing, I want you to know that we do think of you and often speak of you. (You met my wife, Anne, Jack, once, before we were married.

I took her to a speech you made at Douglas Blvd. quite a while ago.)

I'm sorry to admit that we have been back in Chicago for over a year, & haven't let you know. But we have, & are now living at 6618 S. Kenwood.

(3) A couple of times I have been over in your general neighborhood with Anne, & I always suggested, "Let's call on the Conroy's," & Anne would say, "It's after 8:30 now, & too late to call on someone if you haven't telephones first." And so we didn't make it

Now, we hope you will come to pay us a visit. Any time, the sooner (4) the better, during the Christmas holiday season, if possible.
    Best regards,
 Anne and Warren
