make my own hours - and it gives us some income - & it is my field. I may take an offer to go to Wash for 4 months as Consultant & set up a section for young people in the new building of the National Collection of Fine Arts, Smithsonian Institution. It might be a good change from the pastoral life & that would give us some income to go on for awhile. I should not want to become immersed in the brutalizing bulldozer of the Establishment bureaucracy again - having barely worked myself out of it - I resigned a year ago. A short stint as a Consultant is something else again - (I tell myself)
