There are such awful reckless car loads of both negroes and whites sporting about out in our neck of the woods these days that for the first time in my life I find myself afraid of being here alone - especially at nights. He has been passing bad checks all along a route from Evansville to a town in Southern Alabama where he is under arrest - there was one case of forgery.
