most of us in search for a trail up the remainder of the mountain a part of which is called "Fat Man's Misery", It is well named, for it consists of two gigantic boulders, so close together that you are obliged to squeeze through in order to climb up the rest of the way.
We safely reached the top of the mountain and as there was a full moon that night we stayed up to see it rise. It was a glorious sight also the sunset. At bedtime we reluctantly descended to camp and went to bed, in not exactly comfortable circumstances, either. We hadn't brought tents, so four of us slept in one ox - wagon, and the rest sought refuge with another party who came the same day.
For pillows we had two cameras, a tripod, several pairs of rubbers, the lunch baskets, some umbrellas, and various articles of varying degrees of softness. After spending a night of questionable comfort, I awoke to find that I was rather chilly for the wind was blowing a perfect gale, and the sky indicated rain.
After breakfast we spent the day in roving about the mountain in search of a certain part known as the "Devils Courthouse." Late in the afternoon we reached home after unanimously deciding that we had had a delightful time.
