They live up on a mesa they have an irrigating ditch Same as thees Indians but do not have as much water to irrigate with as the Indians have. They have a funny sounding langague They are very friendly and treated me nice and seemed glad to sit for me. I had intended leaving Tomorrow morning but the Farmer employed by the Government for the Jemez and Zia Indians who has been here some 30 years came over to Zia and Told me he had found out that there was a full blooded Pecos Indian woman living so he waited over to Zia until I had finished and I came back here with him, so I will try and get here to sit for me Tomorrow and the next day I leave here.
