to bathe; and the forms observed were similar to those after the second singing of the Yowah Hymn, at the Ah, taw, hung, nah, ___ the Propitiation, or Cementation, Festival; ____ among which forms was the prayer for cleansing from all the pollutions and the impurities of the year preceding.

    On returning from the water, the people assembled at the Town Council House, where the priest took his station, facing the east, and his attendants placed themselves about him, as at the bathing on the Ah, taw, hung, nah. The sacrifice and the inferences from it, then proceeded in all particulars like the one performed a little before night on the first day of the New Green Corn Feast.
    The priest then set his Ooh, lung, sah, tak, or "word of Wali," which we have termed Divining Chrystal, ____ in an opening at the east side of the Town Council House; and his Ti, Nu, li, no, he, ski, or Severn Counsellors, looked on as before. The appearances in the Chrystal, it is said, always confirmed the omens of the sacrifice; ____ the exact number of persons whose doom was indicated by the one was seen lying dead in the other, ____ as at the Ah, taw, hung, nah, ____ the propitiation or Cementation Festival.
    The priest then gave his Ti, nu, li, no, he, ski, or Seven Counsellers, a decoction
