1866. Tuesday, March 6. Have had a hard time with my sore hand but it is now so much better that I can write this in this manner. Have suffered severely a part of the time. Now just looked over my cash acct account. There is nothing very strange . Negro minstrels from Muscatine perform in town to night. My hand is still bandaged & discharges pusts? freely
