Friday July 16th 1875 This has been a cloudy day, with rain a little all of us well. Hunt still sick but better. Ada in front yard playing Croquet. Mr Angell Belle and myself all went in a buggy to see the widow Homes cottage. we were very much pleased, she she has six large rooms she will let my daughter Mrs Harvey have. and give her the full use of everything. they have a cow and calf for the baby and a nice large yard. Belle is delighted and will move to night if it dont rain. it is only a quarter of a mile from the Hotel. and the lady is a very nice woman Mr Angell will. leave at one O.clock for Boston, to see X his Mother. she lives at Providence a dispatch from Mr Pullman says the twin Angells are well. so Mr Angell started. it has rained hard all afternoon, so Belle wont move. Hunt took a chill to night, and had all evening severe headache, I bathed his feet and head in hot water and sent for Dr Hulce who occupied the room next to me. he gave Hunt some of his number four and Hunt in a little while vomited and its relieved his head, I did not sleep well. Saturday July 17th 1875 X This has been a splendid day. the rain of last night has made it perfect. all of us well, Hunt much better this morning. Belle got everything ready and at twelve O.clock Mr Lufkin got out his Omnibus, and took her family Bag and Baggage?. I went down in the wagon this afternoon and found her very happy. and delighted with everything. they are in such comfort. we watched all day for Mr Faulds family to arrive, but they did not come To night a dispatch came from Saratoga saying that Adele Shreve was sick and that they would not leave Saratoga at present. so after Tea Mattie Faulds James & Ada X walked to Belle,s and showed her the message. I received a nice letter from Mr Badger, Sheridan and a beautiful note from Mrs Locke,s mother, with a peice X of poetry. about Eva, it was beautiful
