Turin March 23rd 1881 Dear sister Sarah I thought as you had nothing to-do but to read letters &c. I would write to you again and you know it is a good way for me to improve any time. Mother has been down home for over a week now. I hope she can come back before Edward goes over in [Grieg?] to stay several days at a time. The roads are getting very bad and he thinks it would be better for him to stay. Mr. Lewis does not go out much now although he keeps about the same.
