I had my trunk with one all ready at the Depot last night to go with Belle to Louisville, and then gone it up on Eva's account as she don't feel well, Belle went with her baby Bells George Robby and Maggie. Mr Haring could not go. I was so sorry to give up the journey. Mr Badger went the afternoon to the Hooneys Cicrus with Ada and Hunt. They enjoyed it. Last? ticked came to day for Mrs Doggetts party next week Sunday May 16, 1875 This has been a lovely day, but cold, all os us well. I went to church with Ada and Ihrene, but the church was so cold that I came out and went to Mr Hiltons and stayed awhile then went to Mr Harry's and saw John he is better. Ihrene bought a new pair of pants, Sheridan gone to buy a musket to night Mr Badger, Ada and myself all went to a party at Mrs Doggett's it was a Musical given to Mr Watson the Pianist, Miss Heiskill song, after we had refreshments Tuesday May 18, 1875 This has been another lovely day cool but sunny all of us well. all morning we remained at home, but at two O, clock I ordered my Carriage and went visiting called on MRs Crawford Mrs Hugh Mr Egan Mrs Sam Walker and Mother unsure Badger. to our surprise when we got there they told us that Sophia had a son, he was born at seven O,clock this morning, he is named Charletn Stapler Badger. weighs six pounds. all doing well. Ella Badger came our also to tell us. Mr Harry came up after supper. he wants Ada to go with him to morrow night to Louisville they are having a nice time with unsure in Louisville, Belle writes all are very unsure.
