Brainerd Cherokee Nation Dec 22. Respected friend. Miss Ames says if I do not write correctly I need not expect to write to her friends very soon again. She and Miss Sargent often ask me if I dot not wish to write to there friends. I sometimes say I have not any thing to write but now I have a great many thoughts. I often hear Miss Ames and Miss Sargent speak about you. I was very glad that you sent a very good little book for our Sabbath school. I have been to school about 3 years perhaps you
