Dr Small was sent for and he thought perhaps her wisdom tooth had something to do with it and sent for the Dentist Brown and he pulled it out while she was in bed and her mouth so hard to open. She stood it bravely and an hour after wards a nervous attack came on which seemed as if it choke her as the tongue was so swollen and gums would not open. All this trouble came from a fresh cold taken upon the old cold. all day we worked over her and all night Thursday March 18, 1875 It is cold and blustering. we can hardly warm our room. Mr Harvey and I sat up all night, Belle still very ill, Dr thinks it Neuralgia of the whole head and face her suffering is very great in her mouth tongue and the nerves of the face. all of my family keep well. I have sent Rob up to stay at my house untill Belle is well. Mrs Adams and Mr Alport went to night to see Ada. Friday March 19, Another very cold blustering day. Belle still very ill. Suffering torture with he mouth and face. cant eat at all feed her on Egg Nog. To night Mr Harvey carried her into the next room, which is very warm. the change made her worse.
