October Saturday 10 1863 Very Pleasant day __ All quiet & no news_ Mr. Field coming with Mr. Fenell & at night Genl Thomas came down in the Eva on his way to Vicksburg and Natchez_- Genl is becomng a little troublesome again & needs snubbing__ Remained quietly in camp all day.
