It is a cloudy morning but decidedly warmer than before the rain. We have had breakfast, German and I, John is eating and Mary has not got up. She sat up, last evening to write and hence laziness- to tell the truth she is not at all well. Her head troubled her a great deal yesterday- so that she looked very badly and I doubt not felt worse- there she is dressing now- We have a shawl hanging on the support of a shelf John has near the ceiling about the middle- We mean to make a curtain but took the one we had for our little clothes press - I sit one side?
