Thursday Aug. 21, 1885. My dear Nephew, I intend going to the village in the morning to see Rev. Ed. Daires and write this to take to the mail. Anna says your morning to write home every week and when she told me she wondered whether you would be so faithful I said if we write, he will I think. So tho' I am tired I will not let this oppertunity slip.
