Belle called and took Evie to the Homeopatic Fair, they stayed all day. I went in my Carriage did some shopping and brought Eva home. Ada and I called on Mr Hoyne and Mrs Govenor Walker after tea Mrs Badger Ada Sheridan and myself also Eva and Mrs Angell all went together to the Fair. Eva & Belle bought several things, a new girl came to me to sew her name is Marie Schufield. Wednesday Nov 18, 1874, Today has been very cold, all of us well Miss Kyle our dressmaker came to day to fix party dresses for Eva and Ada. My new girl came to work today, her name is Marie Schufield she is to sew and look after Hunt. Ada gone to her French class. This afternoon we all went out driving, after Tea. Mr Badger my boys Sheridan & Shreve & myself all attended the Concert of De Murska. Ada went with Eva and Mrs Angell she sings very grandly and is certainly a great artist. Mrs Pullman called today. Thursday Nov 19, 1874. I has snowed all day and now it is quite a snowstorm all of us well. Eva and Ada gone out shopping. Mrs Chapman called to see us at 6 O,clock. Eva and Ada went to Miss Jennie Ludington,s wedding had a nice time. I took my two boys to the fair, There,s new clothes came home today. X Friday Nov 20 1874 This has been a beautiful day. All of us well. The snow is about 2 inches and a half thick, it has been warm all day and the sun shining brightly. The sleighs are all out and everything is gay and lovely. My boy Hunt is playing out all day in the snow with his sled. Eva gone out in the Carriage shopping. Ada gone to her French class. After supper Eva and Mr Angell went to the De Murska Concert. Mrs Badger Ada and myself all went to the assembly given by the young gentlemen, It was a very pretty party. about one hundred and twenty five people present. All young ladies and young gentlemen. We the only old married people. Ada was quite a Belle.
