Dear Jennie,

We were very glad to receive a letter from you and to hear that you have received the Melodeon safely. Am very glad that Anna likes that dress. As to the collar although it is not a very nice one we thought it might be of some service to one of you if you were rather short of collars. - O, how I would like to have a good sing with you and Anna and the Meladeon.
Jame's brother Owen has left Remsen: he went yesterday for Oswego.unclear school to Commercial College. - He does not know where he will go when he gets through there. I believe he has some thoughts of the West. Annie continues quite feeble. The rest of their family are pretty well.
