commissions will be continued longer than the 1st of July, at which time we consider its present term of existence to expire, will depend upon the actions of Congress. The Present Secy of the Interior and the Indian Commissioner have expressed themselves as highly gratified with the results of the commission. But I think I have seen symptoms? on the part of the two latter named indicating no great desire that the commission should be continued.
