Williamson's, Agent for a Company in England, who purchased an extensive Tract of the Jenesee Sands, here we were hospitably entertained. 11 7 We rested ourselves & Horses, got some clothes washed. 12 1 We rode about 16 Miles to Gilbert Berry's, on the Banks of the Jenesee River, a House of good Entertainment, here we met with the Farmer's Brother, Red Jacket, Little Billy & a number of others to the amount of about 50, we were glad to see each other, in the Evening we had a friendly Conferrence, the Indians addressed themselves to the Commissioners in particular, & enquired where Beverly Randolph came from, they were told from Virginia, they said that was a crop for rather wicked) Name, they were Fighters, Red Conference with some Indians
