on the 21st of March, we crossed the line having made one of the quickest passages on record. for four days and nights in succession, we made 10 knots. But here our good luck left us. we were becalmed just the other side for 12 days and from the time we left the line up to our arrival here we have had hardly wind to move us and that little dead ahead. We came up and passed the ?? from Bristol bound for ?? left Bristol R.
