Today has been good, in the afternoon the Sun shone brightly, all, well, Mr Rearden is all right, but weak, Mils Mollen went on the eight O.clock train to Lake Forest. to sew some for Mrs Blank Bullard, then she will return here, Today at three O.clock, the Club all came to our house they number fifty, and are very agreeable interesting people, and very musical, all the ladies brought their Crochet, or embroidery for Christmas there was one Gentleman from Chicago who sang finely, he was Mr Miller Mrs Root and Mrs Taylor, played several Duets, Mrs Cosgrove sang well, and her daughter played for her, Mils blank sang. at five all were invited into the dining room, to a beautiful artistic table, flowers in the center, several small lamps, plenty of handsome silver, and Yellow ribbons, and pretty candies in forms. everything passed off delightfully. to night, Mr Shreve Badger and wife, gone to unclear, flowers, to a sick lady, and candy to Mr Loyd children
