Tuesday, November 26, 1901

Today has been cloudy, and damp. all well but Mr Shreve Badger he still has his bad cold, quite hoarse, Frances has been in Chicago all day came home late with Shreve they had to hurry and dress, as they were going to a dinner out and Reception given to Rev Mr Moore, at Mrs blank house he is the Episcopalian Minister of Kenilworth. I wrote my regrets to Mrs Phelps Hoyt, and to Mrs Geo Pullman, Mrs Re,elle, Roloson, and Mrs Xavier Utes. I had a long delightful letter, Ada Swearingen of Louisville and the picture, and letter from her Father, the large Church, and Parsonage, are the home of Ada,s Aunt Carrie Angell of Norway, (East) She has been Minister of that church for many years, all love her, she has had many calls elsewhere, but her large Congregation, love to hear her preach in her own pulpit. Ada is very happy in her married life of four months.
