Brookfield Mar 8, 1852 My dear Bonnie,

    In respect to personal acquaintance, we must I suppose regard each other as nearly or quite strangers. It has been a long time since we met, and now probably we might meet? written? without? unclear. I am indeed? indebted? however to address you a single time, from the fact of leaving? learning? a few weeks unclear when at unclear unclear that you are agitating? the question of taking up the study of Theology as prepatory to this Christian ministry, and also are thinking of connecting yourself with the school at Cambridge. 
    Now if you have a unclear and desire to enter the ministry, I am very glad to learn it; and I am anxious all the more if such be the fact, to see you and with unclear things talk with you about it. And I wish to inquire, whether I cannot hope to see you! Can you make it convenient? to visit me
