Washington 9th march 1819 Dear Sir Circumstances have recently come to my Knowledge which renders it important to obtain from you a statement of the circumstances which lead to the contract that was made with Capt Thomas in August 1816 for supplying the Troops stationed within the Chartered limits of Georgia.
