OF DRY Skeletons to the Saxon cures In the Holy Field one Carlo adorns the walls Where no longer deformity lives, But of a holy wonder living figures.

No longer do the Creatures fear, Nor do the worms of fright to their hearts return, Even though the bones the soil re-covers, and adorns With Myrtles, with Cypresses, and with Greenery.

Of funereal Hymns to the devout songs Awakens of Eternity living comforts For suffrage of the SOULS in purgatory.

Stripping then of flowers, both the Fields, and the Orchards, Celebrates in the Octave of the Saints The Feast of the Living, and of the Dead.
