My Dear Alice
It still continues to rain & there seems to be no immediate prospect of it clearing up. I would like very much to see the Sun shine or feel its warmth.
Genls Sherman Sheridan & Schofield were present at the Court Martial again to-day. Schofield & Sheridan heard their testimony read over & were questioned on some points againg. Sherman was not recalling to-day & will not probably be before the Court as a Witness until Monday or sometime next Week.
The Court adjourned to-day over until Monday at 11. A.M. & altho' it it raining & very disagreeable weather - I rather think that I will go up to West Point to-morrow after noon - as I may not have a favorable time as to the adjournment of the

Col King unclear about concluded to go there on Monday & of course unclear & go with unclear & we may conclude to go. Will write to you as soon as the matter is definitively unclear
