There are many incidents of the trip from Davis to the Rio Grande & here which I would like to write to you - but I have not the time and will have to give them to you by word of mouth.

I have not yet read Roberts report of his climb up Guadalupe Peak - but will do so in the morning. I am glad to hear that Charles & Robert are so well and thus all are well at home. I will be very glad to see you all again. I am very well. My strength has increased greatly - My flesh seems to be almost as hard as iron.
