Sunday 24 A very warm Sabbath. Did not go to church - my devotions sadly interrupted, which made me feel bad. Is God displeased at what we can not help?

Monday 25 August weather. Father quite unwell. Mr Wilez & Mr Grey left us. recieved a pamphlet from Cousin Andrew - a letter & a bill from Ditsons & Co Sent 35 Cts to that unclear
