Tuesday, August 5, 1873. A nice day. Received a letter from Mr. Bliss. Sent two hymns "Our Golden Song" "The Youthful Christian" to H?. E. Kimball

Wednesday 6 another nice day. Answered Mr. Bliss's letter. Wonder if I will go to the excursion Friday. Mrs Orton gave me a ticket Sunday.

Thursday 7 Still pleasent. Wrote a new hymn- - - Give me thy heart Have not written an effort before for a long while
