To day has been blustering but mild. Eva & Mr Angell went to church at three? O. clock. I went with Ada Eva & Mr Angell to the funeral of Mrs James Re. Miller. She died suddenly at Marquette, she leaves one little girl only about 3 years old. She was the daughter ofMrs? Stanly Fleetwood. after the funeral I cam home in Belle,s carriage also Licini. Hilton and Carrie, after our tea Mr Badger Sheridan and myself all went to see Belle. found them all well and they have Mr, Mrs Peirce with little Carl to spend some days with them, we stayed all evening, Mrs. Nora Cobb Coleman baby is said to be dying.

Monday Aug 31st 1874.

To Day is bright and delightful a lively breeze. all of us well. Lucinda Butler called to get me to take her and her Husband to live with us at our home as Coachman and Laundress. I have not decided about it yet. Belle called and brought her children to spend the day Eva & Belle gone shopping. So has Mattie & James. Our Phaeton mended and Mr Badger and ? gone out in it. Mr Angell and Eva gone to Kenwood? to see Katie, she is to be married on Thursday to Mr Horace Lunt. Eve bought many pretty things to day for her room. Sheridan gone to the Theatre,
