I have recieved a letter from Goodrich--my prison friend. It is nearly a year since I have heard from him--only because I have not written myself.

This morning, I recieved a postal from my friend Abbey, relative to musical matters.

A Day of Disappointments

March. 8-- Della brings me the promised Music book. I hope it will give me some idea about writing a unclear song.

From now till the 1st of May, I should be at ease about our rent. And to have our home secured is a comfort to us all.
