I enjoyed the day in question, as I have done for many a long year - at home I often wish that I might spend these Holidays in a different manner, just for once. But the desired change comes not, & I know that it is just as well. If I cannot enjoy myself here at home, I am inclined to be unclear. I was made the recipient of little gift of remembrance from those around me. This year, such likeness? came to me from an unexpected source, - outside of our home circle. This pleased one much; the circumstanses connected with each incident will not be forgotten.
