My dear Mrs. Bregston, I wish to send to you and to your family sincerent sympathy for the loss of Mr. Bregston (unclear) knew so well and pleasantly ever since his earliest days in Chicago. We met and had a pleasant neit on Friday as we rode together to town first before his death and to the news of his sudden passing was a great shock to me.
