Monday July 15 1861. It is warm this morning looks like rain. I went into a Neighbor Mrs..[unclear] Peck to see if we could rent her house for Mr. A.D. Grant. I then went to the office. it rained just after I got home. Mrs.[unclear initial] [unclear initial] Walker came to see me after Tea. Mr & Mrs. W. K. Brown called to see us--it rained in the evening. Tuesday July 16 1861
