Mr. Montezuma Dear Friend,

Your letter written in Sept. was received after following me to several places in California and finally returning to Parker from where it had been forwarded to me. I was deterred? by merchants and missed the boat that was to bring me here so went visiting & sightseeing while waiting. Parker is just the place where the the Agency building on this reservation are. on the Colorado River 180 miles north of Yuma and
