Our little clock has got into a habit of stopping now & then. Perhaps it is tired & wants a rest, like many a weary pilgrim on the way of life.

          Just now I have an abundance of reading matter - both secular & re-ligious. It ... in papers: & ... books. A good supply of reading is a great blessing: & on one appreciates the some more than I do. 

Della has just completed a patch work quilt - diminution(?) size. It is a pity(?)
